Hey i was programming assembly with amiga500 before being a proffessional programmer on qbasic.any way now who can give me the full hardware register adresses of the cpu,gfx,sound....ex.Does the PC aseembly still work like ;
move.l #$FFFFFFFF,$FFFFFFFF
move.q #$value,$Hardware register ?
cmp.b ..................
 
That’s definitely 68000! must admit myself that i have only looked at the 80x86 series for the last few years (or should i say decades)

if you are still interested in 68000 there's bound to be a specialist site somewhere.

if you want to give the 80x86 series a good bash - look in the FAQ for the downloadable manuals by Intel - the FAQ was written by someone i trust implicitly ;) and the manuals will provide an endless source of information that you will soon find that you cant live without!
