I have install win2k server successfully everything is working, but I have an unknown device. The device is ESG-SHV SCA HSBP M9 SCSI processor device.
I have looked high and low for a driver and I can't find it. I believe it is connect to one of these SCSI devices,
adaptec 7880,7899
AMI megaraid 1500
So far i can't tell if this is causing any response time issues, so should I go by the saying "if it ain't broke don't fix it" or should I continue the search for the elusive driver.

P.S Win2k Sp2 intel xeon dual 750
8 drives total 2 mirrored 6 raid 5

Windows thinks it still needs a driver for hardware that appears to be functioning properly. It would be best practice to always give windows what it wants. You should take some time to track down the noncompliant device. You could start removing hardware one at a time until windows no longer recognizes the device. Then contact the manufacturer for an updated driver, or just replace it with one that windows likes.
