I have installed a new mother board and during the boot process the system is seeing a extra storage device. It hangs up during the verification of the dmi pool!
Have you tried going into CMOS and setting it to AUTO (detect) all hardware in Standard CMOS Settings?
You can also try autodetection in CMOS;
or, unhook all storage devices from the mobo and go into CMOS and set all settings in Standard to none, then go back out and rehook everything one by one and detect them in CMOS.
Clear as mud?
