I have the following problem:
Our company prints money order (it is preprinted form - application in MS Access 2002 project) on Xerox DocuPrint 65/75 PS3 C1 in Headquarters.
Now there is decision to print some orders in agencies.
Agencies have HP LJ 1100/1300. I am trying to print the same report on HP 1100, but printer always print additional 6 mm space on left and 6 mm space on right.
The last digit is (to printed in preprinted square) is printed on the second page.
I have try to decrease page setup-left nmargin and right margin. When I changed this when report was set up to be printed on 1100 it was not possible (MS Access always changed it to 6,01 mm). When I changed it when report was set up to print to Xerox, it has changed but when I change printer back to 1100, report is again printed on two pages although page setup - left/right margin is 0,35 mm.

My question is:
Is this some limit of HP 1100 ?
Should I suggest to buy new printers for all agencies ?

Thank you

Bengy

I know that some laser printers have a 6mm margin all round which is 'hard wired' and cannot be changed. Others have the option to switch this feature on or off.

Why not visit the HP web site, and see if you can look up the technical specs for the HP 1100 printer. Maybe they will have a technical support e-mail address that you could write to, to obtain the code / settings to disable the margin if this is possible.
