How could I detect the amount of memory and the frequency of clock in a PC machine ? I think that I have to use a DOS or a BIOS interrupt (generic) but I don´t know what ...
Could anybody help me ?

Thanks in advance
Renato

You can use interrupt 12h to determine the conventional memory (kbs of memory are returned in AX) and interrupt 15h to get the amount of conventional memory (set AH to 88h and the memory will be returned in AX, CF is set on error).

I haven't used either of these interrupts so try them at your own risk. Sorry I couldn't help you with the clock question.

<a href= plain black box
