I had a hdisk fail this morning and as well as getting an email sent to root, the system also tried to send the errlog entry to all users in the "security" group.

Can this be changed?

At the very bottom of the /usr/lib/ras/notifymeth script it shows you who gets mailed this formatted output. It may say just root. If so, check your /etc/aliases file to see if root is aliases to all security group.

Or you can write your own notification methods and edit the ODM. Write your own en_method parm
(odmget errnotify) - you'd have to change them all

errnotify:
en_method = "/usr/lib/ras/notifymeth -l $1 -r $6 -t SCSI_ARRAY_ERR7\n\
