I'm working with a Gateway P5-166, I have installed Windows 95 version B, after installing a Diamond Edge 3D video card, on restart it will still detect a PCI Standard VGA device. Even tho in the device manager the Diamond Edge will be present in the list. What do I need to do keep it from detecting the device everytime I restart? I have gone every avenue I can think of.

tell windows to search for the best driver for this device and then when it shows the paths to search(box's with checks) take the checks out of the box's click next then finish. :)

Thanks Technos
Think I have the problem solved. I just went the normal way of setting it up when windows detected it, after it searches for a driver and doesn't find on. It will say to check other locations, I just click on finish. There will be a second device listed in the Dispaly adapter in device manager with a yellow exclamation mark. All in all, that device is not conflicting with the main display adapter so you just have to leave it alone as its not doing any harm.
I now don't have win 95 detecting new hardware after restarting :)
