Hardware Compatibility

I've just come across a few Micros POS screens, printers, cash drawers at an online auction. How can I verify they are compatible with my current system before I buy them? I'm currently running Micros 3700 with Workstation 5a Touchscreens. Thanks

What model numbers are they? The other item, I believe you will need to have is on the server, make sure you have the files that Micros will push to them. I am not very knowledgeable with the 3700 system, but I am sure someone else could assist further. My knowledge is on 9700 system.
