Hi,
I recently bought a digital video camera and recieved a Studio DV capture card with it.
On the net I found some specs saying the card needs a hard disk which is capable of sustained throughput of at least 4 MB/sec.
Will the standard ATA100 7200rpm Harddrive that usually comes with a computer be fast enough?
If not, what should I go for and what would be the best but cheapest option?

Also, is there anything else I should consider necessary in order to transfer digital video onto my computer and back onto my camera reliably?

Thanks,
fun K

ata100 mean it can send data at PEAKS of 100MB/s but most of the time it send at around 40MB/s which is fast enough for your needs So long and thanks for all the fish.
