Harddrive Noise

I have a user who's harddrive is starting to "rattle" on boot up, and occassionally during use. When it makes this noise the, the harddrive light flashes. Symptoms of drive dying? What does this sound like?

Could be a badly fragmented hard drive. The "rattling" could be excessive disk I/O. Try defrag and see if that helps.
