Hi All,
Can anybody suggest how to add a list of values to a value prompt? The values of the prompt are not from any database columns but are hard coded values. The user has to select any of the values and depending on those values comparision etc. are to be performed.

3 questions for clarification that would help frame the options open to you.

- what is the "name" of the value that you are prompting for? is it something like conversion factor, or maximum limit, or what?

- how would you use it in the value comparison? using the maximum limit example, would it be like metric less than "maximum"?

- is this hardcoded value list useful in multiple reports, and multiple calculations?

I want to create a prompt which will ask user to select the currency (USD, Euro etc--3,4 values). This prompt will be in a decode i.e depending on the prompt answer the calculation will change. But there is no currency table in the db.

How will I then create a prompt and ask users to select from the LOV (which I will have to create) instead of users typing in the value?

Any help will be appreciated
Thanks
