Hardcode Password into CR report

Hi all,

CR 11, Oracle backend.

I am posting a crystal report to the web by way of the crystal report add in in .net. Curious if there is a way to hard code in the password for the report so the people viewing the website dont have to type it in.

Any ideas are appreciated!

Hi,
When creating the connection object for Oracle you can have the password in that - but for security's sake have the connection info in your config file, not the web page or any accessable web page.
