My ongoing saga about creating runtimes is nearing an end. IT won't let me have the developers edition (I guess if I did have it then I would be a developer, and then they'd have to pay me more!) and they know nothing about Access (they know little about IT, but don't say I told you that!)
I have reached the point where we are now creating the runtime. I want it to run a little vbscript when it finishes that puts in icon on the desktop. The script works great, but when the setup.exe is run, it does not run my script file. AKAICT everything is set up right. There is a tick on "run this file" and we have tried using $(App Path)\link.vbs and D:\users\common\Link.vbs as the path, but nothing, nada, nowt. It is just not running my pretty little VBScript.
Can anyone help.
Please.
I don't want to have to manually run my script if I can help it. (I know it's not a big job and won't take much effort to do, but it's the principal of the thing that's at stake here!)
Ben
PS I'm on A2k now.
