I forgot admin password to get into BCM50 so I want
to perform a Hard reset using the hard reset switch on
the BCM.
I tried pushing the reset switch with a non metallic needle
(as reported in the manual), and I expected to see LEDs
start blinking.
Unfortunately When I push the reset switch nothing happens

Any ideas?

There is a specific process depending on if you want a level 1 or level 2 reset. You start by cycling the power. Look in the maintenance manual for specifics as I don't know the LED color combinations.

Power-cycle the BCM05, as the BCM50 is booting up follow the reset sequence in the manual.

Thanks I got it.

1) During the boot, the power on LEd on BCM start blinking.
Then You have to press the reset button once and wait

2) After 5 about seconds both leds start blinking (one
orange the other red). Then you have to press again
reset to confirm.

3) Wait 5-10 minutes and the system will be reset
(level 1 reset, you loose keycodes and configuration)
