If you have a hard drive go bad and you do NOT have the redundant option and you just install a blank drive. Will you lose your keycodes???

In the installers guide it says that you can reload the "load" from the MSC. Would the MSC also reload your keycodes??

You cannot install a blank drive.
Drives must be ordered as FRU drives from Nortel.
Each drive includes pre-formatted/loaded partitions
Keycodes need to be re-entered.
You may use your original keycodes.
Lost keycodes for a specific system ID can be retrived from the Nortel Keycode Retrieval System by whoever generated the original keycode, or by ITAS.

The telephony programming is stored on the MSC card.

just to add to aragon's notes ...

the MSC can the considered as the 'norstar without need for PRI keycodes'

all the applications reside on the hard drive ACD, VM ... and IP applications and their keycodes on the Harddisk
