Hard drive problems, help please! 1

When we start up the computer, it detects the hard drives and gives the error message "Conducter cable 80 not installed on primary IDE". It detects the hard drive, but is unable to use it.
 
Do anything you can to define the problem:
1. replace the cable.
2. let the hard disk be a secondary and then use other hard disk to boot system up.
3. check any jumpers you set before.
4. re-set the BIOS to default.

You need to upgrade your old 40 wire/40 pin IDE cable to a newer 80 wire/40 pin IDE Cable..
