Hard Drive problem 1

I put a hard drive in a Sunfire 240 and formatted it. It didn't return any errors and iostat -ne showed clean bill of health. I went to format another drive, and noticed the original drive said it wasn't available and that it was formating. It is done formatting, but sill has that label. Any thoughts?

Hi Kev. Can you post the format output?

The only indication that something is wrong is when you attemp to format a disk. Then it says drive not available, formating.
