the other day our md110 start to act strange and was the result of a failure in the power supply board in one of the LIM, we call our service and they change the board but toke to long for the PBX to startup the guy that change the board say that the HD in the HDU is failling and recomend the change of the board. one service sale the board for U$S 4500 and the other for U$S 3500. what kind of HD use the HDU for this link look like a 2,5 normal drive . Can I change the drive? what drive brand and model do you recomend? I understand that a empty hd will not work. Can I clone this hd ?

thanks.

As far as I know you should be able to replace with any 2.5 disk as long as it is not too big size. The existing one is 2 gig I think. It can be formatted by command. I have never tried this though.

any 2,5" IDE drive will do.

we replace them with 40gb WD scorpio's without any problem...
