we experience, on average of four months the "not detect" master hard drive and slave hard drive on channel 0
We open the case unplug the data cables, replug it ( three or four try ) and suddenly everything come back like normal.
Cable has been exchange from ide0 and ide1 for testing purpose , and problem came back about four months later...
Board is an ASUS, drive western digital for master and fujitsu for slave, CPU is a 870. Windows ME with 256MB.
( we try to plug the H-D in ide1 instead of 0, but none detect too - when problem is present )
Any idea ? Motherboard goes crazzy ?
