Im haveing an extremely hard time getting my computer up and running after a bad virus. I was unable to go through post.... post would come up and the cd - rom would be read but no hard drive. So i switched ide channels and then they both read... but it wouldnt get passed a screen with a blinking underscore cursor? i have tried everything from new from to a new hard drive and to what i just did today... a completly new mobo. Im very frustrated i cant fix it... im on my way to try and put a different video card in it... and to switch out ide cabel completly. any help would be great thank you.
