Hard Drive Limit???

I got an Ultra 10 running Solaris 7 that I just installed an extra Maxtor 60Gb hard drive on, but the format command only recognized 25.77 Gb of it. What's up with this hardware limitation? Anyone else had this problem and what you did about it?

I think Solaris 8 10/00 support eide disk larger than 32gb.
Solaris 2.7 and earlier solaris 8 will support disk larger then 9gb up to around 20 something gbss.
