hard drive in bios has "Bootable add-in card"

I deleted windows 98. I am tring to install windows 2000 pro but cannot because during setup a message occurs saying some files cannot be copied and it list the files one by one. I went into bios and under hard drive it only has "bootable add-in card" and not the hard drive name itself. I have Phoenix 4 version 6 bios. The computer is a NEC. I have a seagate ata ulra medalist
