Hi There..

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop that was accidently dropped 4 feet to the floor. Ouch.. The laptop does not boot and displays the error message "NTOSKRNL.exe can not be found". I tried to copy the NTOSKRNL.exe file from the CD to the harddrive. The harddrive will not display my directory structure and generates the following error " An error occurred during directory enumeration". I executed the chkdsk /r command without any success. Any suggestion as to the problem and solution. Your help is appreicated.

Thanks..

Ouch!! -Sounds like physical damage to the HD. Try running scandisk from a floppy. Or chkdsk /f.

Good luck §;O)
