thankyou for your time

If you have copied some files to another win machine this might assist in gaining access to them:

How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP

You did not specify what you think you did to get to this point nor specifically what your tries in recovery console.

It could be that the MBR is corrupt, or that chkdsk run from the console with the /r option might help??

Post back with what you have done and what you have tried with the resulting messages

i tried chkdsk /r its say it has one or more problems and couldnt do it :(
the data recovery program i used found files but the files are useless the jpegs dont work most text files is all like code and mumbo jumbo
its seems i may be losing the lot and the a format is looking a possibility
i am more than willing to let someone remote to me to see for them selves :)

From the console did you attempt, with this as the boot drive, did you also try the fix mbr and other repair routines?

These might provide guidance
