It might have been lightening, I'm not sure.... one day the computer worked and the next day it didn't.

When I turned the computer on it seems to start but never does anything. No blue screen... nothing.

I had another computer from the same manufacturer with the same drive in it.

I tried taking the drive out of the computer that doesn't work to see if it worked on the other computer.

I checked in my computer/manage and the second drive is listed as 1. unallocated.

But the second drive doesn't show up as an extra drive.

Anyway, I'd like to get the first computer working if thats possible....if not I'd like to salvage the drive if thats possible. I have bought another drive already just haven't installed it yet. Waiting to find out whats toast and what isn't.

Thx

What makes you think it is the hard drive? Is there an error message in BIOS? Flashing cursor? Any video at all???

Please be as specific as possible, exactly what happens when you try to boot the "first" computer?

And especially do tell if you're pc said any remarks, like "Please shoot me now."

Seriously - tell us any beeps, sounds, lights flashing, anything... tell the make/model of the PC, etc. The more info, the more likely and more quickly you'll be to get an answer.
