Hello folks !
I'm looking for an utiliy to test one IBM ATA100 disk for any errors.
We have the below described problem : We are using a Promise Supertrak100 Raid Controller with three IBM DTLA307030 in a Raid5 2+1 configuration.
We have the problem( now for the second time) that one of the hard disks goes "offline" and leaves the array in critical mode. We don't exactly know what the heck is going on with this drive, i have tested it, but have not found any error.
And so I wanted to ask you wether you know some good hard disk test tools or if you an tell me something about the Promise Supertrak 100 IDE Raid Controller, if you know about some suspect behavior or so.
Actually I don't trust this controller
