hard disk detect

why every time when i shutdown the pc .& start the pc
primary hard fail appears.once when we autodetect from the setup.then it will detect.and work,please suggest the solution for the above problem
 
I don't suppose your computer is so fast it gets to the point of recognising the HD, the Hard Drive has yet to initialise ?

Is it possible to slow it down, by getting it to do a ful memory count at the boot ?
 
If its not a controller chip on the harddrive failing I would follow Grenage advice above
