Lets say that your final publication will be 11 x 17 (each half page is one ad). You do your layout in PageMaker, print proofs using the print>tile command, adjusting the ruler end points so each half page ad prints on a 11 x 8.5.You then export the file as a pdf to send to the print bureau. Your max size printer in your office is 8.5 x 11. Is there anyway you can view the final printed pdf file as a hard copy print, or do you need to have a printer capable of printing 11 x 17?

Hi,
The best thing would be the printer being capable to print on 11X17. But if you just want to have a hard copy and size doesn't matter then you could use the 'fit to paper' option in your print menu. This will have as a result that your print will be at a certain percentage of the original.

hope this helps
