hard code linked table

Hi all,

I've got a linked excel table to my database which is saved on a shared server. I would ideally like to hard code the path to the \\servername\filename\excelfile as currently it maps to the local path name s:\filename\excelfile.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

you know when you just can't figure it out until you've already posted!

instead of searching through using the drop downs I just typed in the full path of the document and it linked straight through.
