We are using a SBS for print management at a couple of different locations. We have run into the problem that when a user tries to print a PDF file, it is getting stuck in the queue. But not only does it hang in Q but it also doubles in size while trying to reprint the document. any ideas on what this could possible be??

This is similar to a problem I came across years and years ago (way way before sbs2003).

What is the printer in question?

Our problem was fixed by using a 'Post Script' driver for the printer (rather than a PCL). Although, I haven't spotted post script drivers for a while so not sure if this is relevent.

Have a look at your Printer Manuafctures Drivers page.

thanks

Also, if you've not already, try updateing to latest version of Acrobat Reader (Currently Version 8) and make sure you have latest normal driver for your printer.

Thanks
