Hanging CE 8.5 pageserver process on Oracle

We have noticed "hanging" processes on our Oracle box.
After further investigation, they appear to be Crystal related. Basically the process connects to the database and stays logged in. So I would see a login in October and a last activity date also in October. Can you help me understand what is happening and how we can resolve the "hanging" process. Thanks.
