I am running BE 8.6 on an NT platform. My scheduled backup jobs are running and completing, but after completing they get hung up and the queued jobs waiting to run can't run because the hung up jobs are hogging my tape drives. Any suggestions?
If your job has hung, you need to stop and re-start your Backup Exec services in the control panel. Try running an inventory (right click the tape device in the Backup Exec devices page and select inventory)
Try a small backup to determine if it is working ok.
