I'm trying to help a pal who has a nurse call system that connects to a cs1000. I'm not sure if the nurse call connects to a cs1000 analog port or an OPX line port. Anyway, when the nurse call system calls the cs1000 and then hangs up, the line does not disconnect. he was told that the nurse call system needs to send a hang up code to the cs1000. I've never heard of sending a hang up code to the cs1000. Has anyone heard of this or have any idea what this guy may be talking about?

It's the Nurse Call system that does not release from the CS1000. If it did, the CS1000 would disconnect. Some third party boxes know to release when they hear a burst of dial tone. The CS1000 can do that if you give the analog TN CLS LDTA

If the ports really are from an NT1R20AB/Off Premise Line Card, then you just set the FTR ISP and OSP values on the analog TN

They only apply to Line Side T1 and NT1R20AB cards. They have to do with disconnect supervision, which is only available on those cards.

CLS LDTA is available on all analog cards.
