Problem
Volume of handset low after setting.
Each time you make a call volume has to be turned up.
Is there a fix for this?

(Handset volume Adjustment Saved) in your class of service options assignment.

That will solve most of the problem, but not all. If the handset is turned up to the very top, the volume will default to a mid level for the next call. The reason for this is that the top volume level is slightly higher than some regulatory level says should be the top volume level.

To overcome this, simply turn your volume up to the highest level and then take it down one level. It should stay there. That is of course once you have the COS option enabled.

This was done but volume always go to level 4.

Loop...

As Paterson indicated, you cannot set the volume setting to the maximum setting or it will revert regardless of the COS setting. This is design intent by Mitel and there is a Tech Bulletin explaining on Mitel's website.

You must set the volume 1 notch below maximum if you want it retained.

What type of system is this?

It's been a little while, but I seem to remember there being a system wide option for using system volume or handset volume. 3300 - System Options form? I don't have a system in front of me right now.

I was assuming 3300, but good point.

Loop.. what is the system type?

Paterson, I don't know of a system wide setting on the 3300.
