Handover-Problems with FW R6A on ELU31

In a BC11 SP8-System the following problem exist: with DT400 phones there will be no handover from LIM to LIM possible, in a LIM (from ELU31 to ELU31) there are no problems. Does anyone knows the problems?

What kind of base station are you using? Did you update the firmware of the basestation as well?

Yes, we do. We're using BS330/340 with HW R2C and SW R3A. Also the DT400 Phones work with newest FW 04.05 (HW R3B) or 05.01 (HW R4A)

How about the syn cable connection? do the ELU 31 all connected with the syn cable?

Yes, LBP20 in Lim 1 and 2, the two Lims stand together, so the sync-cable are 3meters

We had the same problem with DT570's. This was fixed by upgrading the ELU31 cards to P7A. I am not sure if this is a pre-version, or if it's comercially avilable. It has nothing to do with the R7A, wich is older ....

There runs R6A on ELU31. P7A must be a pre-version, i think this will be running in a machine in belgium, because there are the same prolems. The new FW R7A will arrive with SP9 for BC11 in a few weeks. What did you mean that R7A is older? You don`t mean the older FW with ABC CAA1580005? Another Question: DT368 (R2M) under BC11 SP8 have full signal strength and quality is also good, is logged into the MD110 so you can handle calls. In next moment the DT368 logged off and the onlyest thing you can do is to turn it off and on to log in again. Therebe the DT368 will not be moved, so no handover can be done. What that?
PS: can you send me the P7A FW for testing?
