Hi all,
Is there a way to divert OWS traffic to a remote location?
If yes, which options are technically possible?

many thanks in advance

Hi,

Go to
They offer extremely reliable Voip Gateway. Have a high speed broadband connection at both ends, use 2 Port gateway at both ends & have your OWS running through it at remote site. Its around 1000 * 2 USD for 2 port unit combination.

Hi Raymondo30 Is this to a permanent situation or a night answer position. or just an hour or two.
Is the remote location off site or elsewhere in an other building. A *22 may work if it is only for an hour or two or over night. Is the remote position requing a full OWS or just a 213 / 223 phone.
Cheers Brian

Hi Brian

Its a permanent position offsite and its a full OWS which should handle all callf from 8:30AM till 18:00PM.
After that it can go to its default local Night-answering.
As its traditional TDM based OWS, the suggestion of singhbrindisi for the VoIP-gateway is a good one i guess.
Because we are going to IP-trunking between the sites, im also thinking of letting the calls/signalling through that trunk, but im not shure Aastra/Ericsson has a solution for that..

cheers.
