Handling drawing restrictions in eSynergy

Just wondering how everyone handles drawing restrictions in eSynergy - does everyone make the customer service/sales reps the lowest security level within the company? Then purchasing? Then manufacturing?

This does not seem logical in our setup(a lot of people on the manufacturing floor would be considered lowest security setting - some of the technical customer service would be higher level) -however I would like to block manufacturing and purchasing drawings from the customer service/sales reps so that none would be able to get to a customer accidentally(at least not through eSynergy).

I was trying to use project security - but the drawings do not show up under the item number except for an administrator. If I have to do it this way I may but I was hoping to have the drawings show under the part number.

Any suggestions?

If you were using Project - did you have the users that should view as members of the project, and the documents assigned to the project ?

Yes and yes. In speaking to my reseller I was told this is working properly - you can only see the documents under the project(unless you are an admin - then you can see them under the item) I am on version 360. I tried it with requests as well - same behavior.
