Handles on pictures

I have a grouped picture. There are no side handles, and I can only use the corner ones, and using those makes the pictures inside skinny even though it isn't supposed to. Also I cannot see the "crop" button on the toolbar.

Try holding down the shift key when resizing the picture grouping.
