I have someone that installed Hamachi on our SBS domain and other external networks. Is Hamatchi safe to use in a domain environment or any other corperate network that should stay secure.
Hamachi itself is a very secure app...but having it on a client of your network...hmmm...that user could possibly invite others to join his/her Hamachi network and possibly compromise shared files on the SBS network. I would not allow it because access to files & printers will be granted to anyone invited to join this particular Hamachi network.
I would limit access to the SBS network via RWW, OWA and possibly a third-party secure VPN only. I don't think I'd want Hamachi on my network, unless it was for my personal use, i.e. getting files from my home PC.
