hai,
i want to export and import a ms- word file to sql server database.i.e it is a like a attachment in e-mial.what datatype has to choose for that coloumn.please suggest me how can i do this.

The image datatype is one that is most appropriate for storing Word documents.

However, consider the alternative of storing the Word documents as .DOC files on the server, and having a VarChar column in a table that contains the path and file name of the related document. Robert Bradley
