Had BootMagic Partitions, Installed XP, Lost 1 partition

I had bootmagic installed with 3 partitions. WIN2K on one.
Chinese win98 on another. Worked good. Then I installed XP on the 3rd partition and it no longer boots to BootMagic and cannot access the Chinese Win98 partition.

XP comp Mgt window shows the partition as unknown and only offers choice of delete it.
1. How to get my files back
2. How to regain bootmagic capability
3. How to have Chinese win98 boot partition again
3. XP seems to have multi-boot capability, is it as good as using bootmagic?
