I change my config HACMP.

I also need to change all entries in HACMPdaemons because old entries was there. So I use odmdelete -o HACMPdaemons and odmadd HACMPdaemons.NEW. Everything is all right.

I remove the old file in /user/sbin/cluster/etc/config/HACMPdiscovernode so when I restart the /usr/es/sbin/cluster/clcomd, no old entries come back in HACMPdaemons. Everything is fine.

However, when I reboot the system, all my modifications are there but with "3 old entries with old nodename" that appear in HACMPdaemons.

Where do the system check when rebooting to add this "old entries" ?

Any ideas? Sorry for my english...

Which version of HACMP is this?

It't not at all a good idea with play with the odm i guess!

Regards,
Khalid

Version HACMP 5.2

(I change ODM because I restore a backup of the server on another machine, machine of test. I have to test something...)

Here is the answer of my question:

You have to change odm also in these files HACMPxxxx:
/usr/sbin/cluster/etc/objrepos/active

You have to edit the variable ODMDIR=/usr/sbin/cluster/etc/objrepos/active
so you can edit these ODM file.

When rebooting, all entries in HACMPdaemons will be ok, in /etc/objrepos and also in /usr/sbin/cluster/etc/objrepos/active

Thanks.
