I have two two node hacmp clusters in two datacenters.
DC1 is the primary with a two node cluster. DC2 is the DR with another two node cluster.
The two are connected using SRDF storage. DC1 is R1 and DC2 is R2.
Currently when we fail over to the DR site we switch R1 and R2 using symcli commands then bring up the resource group on the DR side.
However the DR site is running a uat instance.
We manually edit the UAT RG and put in all the prod vgs/ips etc , sync and then bring it up. All this takes time..is there a better way to do this ?
On veritas clusters we can have a SG which can be disabled or frozen so this sort of configuration does not pose a problem..in HACMP I see no way to disable a RG hence the same RG is used for uat during normal operation, during DR it's used for prod hence the manual configuration.
