I have the following problem with HACMP 5.1 and AIX 5.2:
When I’m synchronizing HACMP resources, I get aproximatelly 4xtimes from 5 tries the following message:

Retrieving data from available cluster nodes. This could take a few minutes...........send select:
There is no process to read data written to a pipe.
ERROR: Cannot send the packet to the node: l37fis13
ERROR: Comm error found on node: l37fis13.

Verifying Cluster Topology...

...

then veryfication and syncrhozinaztion failes. All the rsh and rcp commands are working properly, also (after 1 successfull synchronization) HACMP cluster is working properly. This error when running synchronisation appears from both of the nodes of the cluster.

Do you know what is the cause of this problem ?

thank you,
M

did you post this question in the IBM or AIX forum? I guess you can get better response there.
