I am trying to get the nonip network for an HACMP cluster to work over fibre, using some BlackBox converters, however, on one end when I try to cat < /dev/tty0, the redirection does not stay connected. If I loop round using a while loop, listening on the tty, I can get output from the other end.

I know that this is posible as other forum members have done this. What make/type of adapter are you using?

I get the following errpt output
