When I try running Discovery on node ltpt0011 or ltpt0012, recieve error

WARNING: Unable to communicate with the remote node: ltpt001

I am signed on to the node and the rhost file matches what I have on node ltpt0012.

When I try and sync:

cldare: A node (ltpt0011) which has been removed from the new cluster
configuration is currently active. The Cluster Manager on the node
must be stopped before the topology change can be applied.

I did not remove the node. It is a production node.

Any ideas on how to get around this problem?

Yeah sometimes HACMP errors are weird!

If i were you i would first talk to IBM just to make sure you can solve this while the cluster is up since this is a production cluster!

But i think restarting the cluster might solve the problem (from my little experience with HACMP, most of the probelms can be solved by restarting the cluster).

If this didn't solve the problem then i guess you will need to restore the cluster snapshot (which i hopefully you don't reach this stage)

Good Luck and let us know where this reached!

Regards,
Khalid
