How can I fail my network address back to my primary adapter after it has failed over to the standby adapter? Can this be done without recycling HACMP?

Assuming you are using HACMP 5 follow the smit pannel below

smit hacmp
System Management (CSPOC)
HACMP Communications interface management
Swap IP Addresses between communications interfaces

This will move the network address back to the primary adapter and re-establish the standby interface. This can be done with the cluster running.

If you are using a version of HACMP prior to 5 then use the below pannel

smit hacmp
cluster system management
cluster communications adapter management
swap network adapter

again this can be done with the cluster running.
