HACMP IPAT Problems

Hallo ....

We have HACMP 5.3 and we have a Problem with IPAT IP aliasing
We have 2 NIC and 2 Switches Cisco Catalyst 6000 and each NIC go to one of the Switch.

Now the Problem is, when we plug of one of the NIC the IP-Adress fall to the other NIC imidiatly but when i ping the IP-Adress I become a Time out .... After about 30 seconds the IP-Adress is Pingable ... That is too long for the Application and all user must reconect .....

Spanning Tree is enabled on the Switches

Thank you for your Help but

It is an activ activ Cluster not a activ standby ..... on the scond Nic ther is also an IP (Service IP) joned.
