I've created new filesystem on shared VG in a rotating cluster with one resource group. I did it from C-SPOC with success. Alas, the mount point is created on both cluster nodes but on active node filesystem is not mounted automatically after it was created (in the resource group there is specified a shared VG and no filesystem specified what means it should mount ALL filesystems from the shared VG).

Will it be mounted after some period of time or I should mount it by hand?

If I would mount it by hand, will HACMP complain during takeover/stopping? Will HACMP umount my new filesystem if it would be mounted by hand?

thx in advance,
rm.

HACMP should deal with mounting the filesystems after it starts and varies on the VG's.

Cspoc in 4.4.1 isn't real reliable.

Suggest you stop hacmp on the node that the filesystem didn't mount then restart it to make sure it will actualy mount the thing (check your resource groups too, to make sure cspoc did it's job).
