H4K - Change the Caller ID of hunt group members

Hi all,

we have a HiPath 4000 V8 with 6.000 ports. Some departments use a hunt group for their incoming calls from internal and external parties.
What we want is, that outgoing calls from every hunt group member send the pilot number of the hunt group to the called party. Intern and extern. Is there any way to do that? I can't found any solution for that.

Hi.

There is a workaround, but the number of pilot hunt will be sent only on calls to external destinations (not internal) over PSTN.
In SDAT of hunt members, add PUBNUM parameter as the number of pilot hunt (national format) and TON = UNKNOWN, NPI = UNKNOWN usually
(depending of how LODR is set on outgoing trunk to PSTN).
In LDAT of the same outgoing trunk to PSTN: LATTR = PUBNUM.

This is our current approach. But 80% of outgoing calls go to internal devices. If the called party isn't available and later calls back, the call goes directly to the hunt group member. I can't believe, that there is no other way. Every call center do that. The OpenScape Voice can rewrite the outgoing number. Is there no way with number manipulation internally?
 
You may try with:

CHANGE-SA:TYPE=TYPE,CD=xxx,SVC=VCE,DISPTYPE=HT;

I will display also the name of hunt group.
 
That's not the right option. This changes the displayed number on the caller's display when a member answers the call. With this option, the display will hold the called pilot number on the display, otherwise the display will change to the number of the member who answered the call. For outgoing calls unfortunately nothing changes.
 
As far as I know there is no option in 4k to change caller ID/number for outgoing internal calls.
 
For outgoing you could setup those hunt group extensions as Keysystem extensions, they could then dial out on behalf of the main hunt group number.
